ETA: This is the first remake-without-its-creator that struck a nerve this deeply, unexpectedly so. Maybe "Star Trek" didn't feel so wrong because Roddenberry was never onscreen and especially never played the lead characters. Henson did. Maybe I can just ignore new Looney Tunes without Mel Blanc because his contribution was more discrete.
I had a visceral reaction to what I perceived as the moviemakers' intention to plunge onward regardless of some irreplaceable missing factors. None of the other Big Three Muppet movie posters made as big a deal out of Muppet Lower Halves as this one appears to be.
Maybe I never got over the suddenness and perceived cosmic unfairness of Henson's death 8/
I don't care why and I'm not apologizing for it. DO. NOT. WANT.
