Seeking Opinions--Pennsic Classes
Apr. 8th, 2011 07:11 pmCross-posted: If the word "Pennsic" has no meaning for you, feel free to pass this note by 8)
This month, if I want to teach, I have to register classes in the next couple of weeks.
I'm not sure which classes most people would like to see (again?).
I'm not sure if I want to keep teaching in the Amphitheatre or migrate to an A&S tent, for those classes which aren't too noisy or messy.
I'm not sure how many classes I want to teach--I've been averaging between two and three per Pennsic.
Classes I have taught which I'd enjoy teaching again include:
"Get Your Wit Out Of The Hundred Merry Tales"
"Filking With History"
"Reading Music 101"
"Masks and Street Mumming" (mostly a practicum, working in the masks, ends with a masked "field trip")
"The Illustrated Story" (Production practicum for the mime-and-narration storytelling format)
"Seven (or more) Simple Rounds" (culled from the Musician's Day class--"seven" is arbitrary but alliterative 8)
"Six Simple Spanish Songs" (the class I taught at Noisemakers')
I'm definitely looking for feedback here. What would people find the most fun/useful?
Many thanks for your time 8)
