Lazy Day?

Wednesdays are usually "no bus/train day" because on my three (12-hour) workdays, I travel about 2 hours each way (schlepping 5 or 6 projets du jour in various shoulder bags). Weekends I go to events or do shows or see family, all of which means more bus and train time, and on Friday (payday) my money is in Brooklyn and I'm in Queens.

Guess what happens next 8)

In a perfect world, Wednesday would also be "get all the chores done day" and some days I actually do take care of a few things. My challenge is to self-motivate while leaving myself a little time to recharge, and striking a healthy balance between the two on days not defined by my work schedule.

Something I actually DID today was some online research about citterns, since I'm planning to own one later this year. I want to know what I can about the tuning, and Shalmestere suggested tuning four strings of a guitar like a cittern to get an idea of what the tones will sound like. I found one website that showed English/Italian tuning and French tuning and I may try it with my spare (classical/nylon) guitar (my steel strings would sound more like a cittern but I can't afford to experiment with my street show instrument) when I find the website again.

I'm also starting to memorize and rewrite some of the stories I narrated for the Coribantes so I can recite them by myself or cast them with audience volunteers. This may not work for stories like "Nut 'n' Mutton", which had one actor being picked up and dropped twice in various guises, but for the rest of them...
