Es Ist Ein Schnee Und Ich Hast Gefallen
Feb. 4th, 2009 08:14 amI was not disabled by the fall at this time (Alleve == FRIEND 8) The short version is that taking the patient to a particular appointment is a bit of a workout on a snow-free day (curbs + manual chair). We're both fine now.
Today, I shall appreciate the snow in my preferred manner -- sipping a warm sweet beverage on the other side of a window.
Also attacking the to-do list:
--Finish chicken soup (crock-pot also == Friend), finish rendering the schmaltz
(Note to self: soup plus dumplings plus crock-pot == Chicken Pudding 8P
--Cook up the most reproachful of the items in my fridge
--Eight reps of teh ribald song (I'll perform it again after I get to fifty total)
(I did...less than eight...)
--Correspondence with Lions in Love steward
--Correspondence with other potential lyricists for "Follow the Tyger"
--Correspondence with A Certain Gentle about A Certain Project
--Correspondence with family re: ETA on Friday, gift ideas for Nephoo, etc.
--Move printer to permanent shelf (changing partners with four stacks of CD's while standing on kitchen stepladder..."AAaaaaaand, for my next trick...")
--Print out and pack Megabus confirmation number to show to the nice bus driver on Friday morning
--Shampoo (yes, I really do have to list this to remember it)
--Start packing for Delaware trip (sister's B-day)
--(Treat, if time permits) check out Peninsula Library for the next- to - latest Kelley Armstrong Otherworld bookwww.kelleyarmstrong.com/aLWTD.htm . (Mah gillty plezzure, let me show you it...) Some of these I don't need to own, but others are just too complete an escape 8)
That should fill the time nicely...
February weekends look pretty busy:
2/7 -- family visit
2/14 -- Noisemakers' (HI
woodwindy ! ::::waves:::: )
2/21 -- Lions In Love (with a side of Provincial Bardic)
2/28 -- K & Q Rapier Champs (my first RP since last month)
After that, a travel-free weekend, I think...
